Torres: ‘Don’t put an age limit on your dreams’

WASHINGTON – Swimmer Dara Torres won 12 medals in five Olympic competitions, gaining much of her fame for being the oldest swimmer on the U.S. Olympic team and earning three silver medals at the age of 41 years in 2008.Torres, also a correspondent and author, shared her journey with attendees here at the opening session during Optometry’s Meeting.
