The Journey Day 47 01.27.20

Day 47. Day 44 of #75HARD. I’m exhausted. Really burned the candle at both ends this weekend. I’ve got to find the strength to get through the day. I’ve got to lock down on the #75HARD stuff and make sure that gets done–if we have to take a loss on the other stuff today, it will be the price we’ll have to pay for getting so much done in those areas this weekend.

I’m grateful. Grateful to be tired. Grateful to be exhausted. My muscles ache this morning. My brain is tired. And I’m grateful for them both. Grateful because I expended myself this weekend, gave it all I have, left everything out on the field. Now I need to muster my resources and see how much more I can get done today to move me closer to my goals.

One who is putting on his armor should not boast like one who is taking it off.

The three ways God answers prayer: “Yes. Not yet. Oh, I have such better plans for you than this.”

It’s SO simple.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

    Here ya go…

Listening to and reporting on the talk inside of my head:
Everything I read tells me to let loose. And now, therefore, I am letting loose. Letting loose the pain that is within me. Letting loose the hope that remained to retain what I had. It’s gone. No more. Now let the universe take over and mend me. Make me whole again. Continue the course of reconstruction of a broken soul. To thrive again. To blossom again. Perhaps in the spring.

SELF-SUGGESTION: THIS IS WHERE I’M GOING. WHERE IS THE PROOF OF PROGRESS TOWARD THAT GOAL TODAY? This is where the rubber hits the road, team. This is the good stuff. These are the end goals. This is what it’s all about.

  1. I am a man after God’s own heart.
