Listening to and reporting on the talk inside of my head:
The last day of #75HARD. It’s been 75 days in a row of enlightenment–revealing that I’m still capable; that my body, mind, and spirit are still vital and ready to rock and roll. Mr. #AndyFrisella, thank you, sir. I went in search of a program that would help keep me sober, and instead you gave me a program that very literally changed my life. I’ve stayed sober. I’ve expanded my mental toughness. I’ve hardened my body. I’ve strengthened my soul. All while walking through one of the toughest times in my life, including periods of homelessness and divorce from a 36-year marriage. I can’t wait to get started on writing the book that will chronicle this journey and I hope it becomes a road map for other seniors who retired to the bench or dropped out of the game too early. We’re still relevant, we’re still coherent, we still bring a helluva lot to the table. Andy reminded me of that and I hope I can be used as a catalyst to remind my fellow gray-haired brothers and sisters. Once again, Andy, thank you. Can’t wait to start the next chapter with the 90-Day Burn.
